Vision of thePursuit

At The Pursuit School of Ministry we believe that now is the time for Spirit filled, Word empowered, men and women to go out and make a powerful impact on our world.   We believe that in these latter days the world is hungry for a new generation of young leaders who have a bold passion for Jesus and a deep compassion for people. Through an equipping environment that combines teaching from God’s Word in the power of the Holy Spirit and hands on ministry opportunities, we believe our students will graduate with the ability to winsomely and passionately go out and change the world! 

We believe that the “tabernacle of David” (Acts 15:16) is being rebuilt in these latter days. We believe that God is raising up a generation of young leaders who are bold and passionate worshippers of the King and warriors for the Kingdom. thePursuit is designed to develop such worshippers and warriors.

We believe that learning is best caught through an environment that captures the best of teaching, hands on ministry and character development in a church based community setting.  This two semester school will utilize four educational pillars in building men and women into Spirit filled, Word empowered disciples of Christ.

We will launch our first semester in the fall of 2008. Our purpose is to build Word loving, Spirit empowered servant leaders who are winsome and passionate for Jesus! This is not your typical Bible College or seminary. We are going to challenge students like they have never been challenged before, making  the Word of God and the ministry of the Holy Spirit a living power and reality in their lives. This will happen through hands on experience, theological equipping, and mission trips that will strengthen their faith.

Each week students will be challenged with a dynamic mix of hands on experience, challenging Biblical teaching, and mentoring by our leadership team. From ministry opportunties to local outreaches, from interning in a local church to international missions, everything is designed to build a worshipper and warrior who loves Jesus and the world.

I’ve been on the mission field, planted a church and graduated from seminary, and I can tell you, you will get more practical training in two semesters with thePursuit than most people get in their college and seminary combined. And it will save you lots of money and lay a theological and experiential foundation that will affect the rest of your life.
